I.N.D.I.A. bloc’s vice-presidential candidate Sudershan Reddy has called on his opponent to engage in a direct and constructive debate ahead of the upcoming election. Reddy said a healthy exchange of ideas would allow citizens to better understand the vision and priorities of each candidate, rather than limiting the contest to speeches and campaigns.
Emphasising that democracy thrives on dialogue, Reddy pointed out that debates not only strengthen transparency but also give the public confidence in their leaders. He added that his intention was not to indulge in personal attacks but to highlight policy differences and future plans.
While his rival has yet to respond, Reddy expressed hope that voters will get an opportunity to witness both candidates share their perspectives on pressing national issues in an open forum.
