Shivani Jaiswal , New Delhi - The Lok Sabha has been adjourned indefinitely, bringing the Monsoon Session of Parliament to a close. The House concluded its scheduled legislative business after discussions on several key national issues and the passage of important bills during the session.
Throughout the session, the government and the Opposition engaged in debates on a range of topics, including economic policies, governance, taxation, and public welfare. Several parliamentary proceedings also witnessed protests and disruptions over political issues, leading to repeated adjournments on some days.
Before adjourning the House, the Speaker thanked Members of Parliament, parliamentary staff, security personnel, and officials for ensuring the smooth conduct of the session.
The Speaker also urged members to continue constructive participation in future sittings of Parliament.
With the Lok Sabha now adjourned sine die, the next sitting of the House will be convened on a date to be announced by the President of India on the recommendation of the government.
