Shivani Jaiswal , New Delhi - Fresh details have emerged in the Air India turbulence incident, with investigators reportedly finding several irregularities in the post-flight report. According to preliminary findings, 13 technical faults were recorded within 80 minutes after the aircraft experienced severe turbulence.
Officials examining the incident are reviewing the aircraft's technical logs, maintenance records and post-flight inspection reports to determine whether the faults were caused by the turbulence or were already present before the flight. The findings have raised concerns over the accuracy and completeness of the post-flight documentation.
Aviation authorities are conducting a detailed investigation to establish the sequence of events and assess whether all mandatory inspection procedures were properly followed. The review also includes an examination of the aircraft's systems and maintenance history.
Air India has stated that passenger safety remains its highest priority and that it is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The final report is expected to provide greater clarity on the cause of the turbulence and the technical issues recorded after the flight.
