Swapna Kumbar , Bengaluru - President Donald Trump said he may be “gone” and claimed he is Iran’s “No. 1 target,” after reporters aboard Air Force One were asked to close the window blinds. His remarks came amid rising tensions with Iran and fresh fears over possible retaliation.

Trump told reporters that Iran’s leaders had been repeatedly eliminated by the U.S. and suggested he could be targeted next. He also used unusually blunt language, saying he was Iran’s top target and implying the threat was serious enough to affect how he travels. Reports say the blinds were shut as a security precaution on the plane, and that Trump then responded by warning the press pool they too were on a “dangerous flight”.

The comments fit into a wider pattern of escalating rhetoric between Washington and Tehran, especially after the collapse of the fragile ceasefire and renewed strikes in the region. Trump’s tone also suggested he was not ruling out further military action, even while saying negotiations could still continue.
