Shivani Jaiswal , New Delhi - Security arrangements have been significantly strengthened at the Red Fort ahead of the Independence Day celebrations on August 15. Multi-layer security has been deployed around the historic monument to ensure the safety of dignitaries and the public during the national event.
Delhi Police, paramilitary forces, bomb disposal squads, dog squads, and intelligence agencies have intensified surveillance in and around the Red Fort. CCTV cameras, drone monitoring, and strict vehicle checks have also been put in place as part of the enhanced security measures.
Authorities have appealed to the public to cooperate with security personnel, follow all guidelines, and immediately report any suspicious activity to ensure a safe and peaceful Independence Day celebration.
