Ranit Kr. Singh , Bhopal - A shocking incident has come to light in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district, where a 42-year-old former Mumbai fashion designer’s body was discovered at his home five days after his death. His mother, a retired schoolteacher reported to be suffering from severe depression, sat by his side the entire time, praying for his revival with a Bible placed on his chest. The tragedy was uncovered on Tuesday after a local milkman noticed a foul odor and seeping blood emerging from the house, prompting him to alert neighbors and the police.
Upon arrival, authorities faced resistance from the mother, who initially refused to let them touch the body. According to Vidisha Superintendent of Police Rohit Kashwani, the deceased had moved back to Vidisha a year ago following his father's passing, while his two brothers live abroad. Neighbors noted that a strong odor had persisted for several days, but no foul play was suspected earlier because the mother continued her daily routine as usual.
The police have since seized the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, the mother has been placed under medical observation. Investigators are currently recording her formal statement in the presence of a counselor to piece together the events leading up to the man's death.
