Shivani Jaiswal, new delhi- Delhi is expected to experience a noticeable change in weather conditions as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh alert for strong winds in the region. According to the latest update, wind speeds may reach up to 50 km per hour, especially during the late afternoon and evening hours.
The weather shift is linked to changing atmospheric pressure and pre-monsoon activity in North India. IMD officials have indicated that the capital may witness gusty winds accompanied by partly cloudy skies, which could bring temporary relief from rising temperatures.
Due to the strong winds, there is a possibility of minor disruptions in daily life, including traffic movement, dust in the air, and inconvenience for pedestrians and two-wheeler riders. In some isolated areas, weak tree branches or temporary structures may also be affected.
The weather department has advised residents to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak wind hours. People have also been urged to secure loose objects on balconies, rooftops, and open areas to prevent damage or accidents.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and further updates will be issued if weather conditions intensify or change rapidly. The overall spell of windy conditions is expected to continue for a short duration before stabilizing again.
