New Delhi, August 18 — A couple and their elder son were found dead at their home in Delhi on Sunday night, police said. Shockingly, the family’s younger son allegedly confessed to a friend that he had killed them before the police were alerted.
According to investigators, the bodies were discovered after neighbours reported unusual silence from the house. Police said the crime scene suggested the deaths occurred late Saturday or early Sunday.
The youngest son, believed to be in his late teens, reportedly called a friend and admitted to the killings. The friend then informed the police, who reached the spot and recovered the bodies.
Authorities said a probe is underway to determine the motive behind the murders. The accused has been detained and is being questioned.
The case has left residents in the neighbourhood shocked, with police calling it a “serious family tragedy.”
