The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Giribala Singh in connection with an ongoing investigation linked to alleged financial irregularities and misuse of official authority. Officials confirmed that the arrest was made after several rounds of questioning and examination of important documents related to the case.
The agency had been monitoring the matter for the past few months and collected evidence from multiple locations before taking action. Investigators believe that Singh may have played a key role in activities that caused significant financial losses and violated legal procedures.
CBI officers carried out searches at properties connected to the accused and reportedly seized documents, electronic devices, and records that may help in further investigation. Authorities have not yet disclosed the full details of the charges, stating that the inquiry is still in progress.
Giribala Singh was produced before a special court, where the agency sought custody for further interrogation. Legal representatives of the accused denied all allegations and claimed that the arrest was politically motivated.
