Ananya Lohia , New Delhi - Delhi Police have registered multiple cases in connection with the violence that erupted during the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) march to Parliament, including an FIR alleging a larger criminal conspiracy.

According to police, four FIRs have been registered so far, with two more likely to follow. The cases relate to alleged criminal conspiracy, unlawful drone use in a high-security zone, assault on police personnel, obstruction of public servants, damage to government property and violations under the Arms Act. No arrests have been made yet, and officials said further action would depend on the evidence collected during the investigation.

The violence broke out after thousands of protesters marched towards Parliament demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged exam irregularities and paper leaks. Police used barricades, batons and tear gas to stop the march, while authorities said 118 police personnel were injured. Officials also reported injuries among protesters, with investigations into the incident continuing.

As the probe gathers pace, the clashes during the CJP march have added a new legal dimension to the ongoing agitation over alleged examination irregularities.
