The BJP on Wednesday revealed its second set of 12 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, and among them is singer Maithali Thakur, who has been fielded from the Alinagar constituency.
This announcement follows the first list of 71 candidates, which included prominent names such as Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary (from Tarapur) and Vijay Kumar Sinha (from Lakhisarai).
The much-anticipated polls for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly are scheduled in two phases — on November 6 and November 11, with counting slated for November 14.
