Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Akshay Kumar's action-comedy Welcome To The Jungle is inching closer to the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office after completing a successful first week in theatres. Despite mixed reviews, the film has continued to draw audiences and has already crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 5.25 crore on its seventh day, registering a 14% drop from Wednesday's Rs 6.15 crore collection. With this, Welcome To The Jungle has amassed Rs 92.90 crore net in India by the end of its first week, putting it within touching distance of the Rs 100 crore milestone.

The film, directed by Ahmed Khan, now faces fresh competition from Alpha, which released in theatres on Thursday, and Dhamaal 4, arriving next week. Its box office performance over the coming days will determine whether it can maintain its momentum.
