Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, witnessed a slight rise in its box office collection on its second day despite receiving mixed-to-negative reviews. The film remains the lowest-opening title in the YRF Spy Universe.
According to trade estimates, Alpha earned Rs 11.25 crore on Day 2 after opening with Rs 9.25 crore on its first day. The film's total India net collection now stands at Rs 17.92 crore. Despite the increase, the film has underperformed compared to other YRF Spy Universe blockbusters.
Alpha trails far behind films like Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War 2, all of which recorded much stronger second-day collections. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the spy thriller also features Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, with a special appearance by Hrithik Roshan.
While Alpha has shown a slight improvement at the box office, its weekend performance will be crucial in determining whether the film can gain momentum in the coming days.
