Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Television actor Shilpa Shinde has once again found herself at the centre of controversy after defending her decision to file a false sexual harassment complaint against Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli during her appearance on Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa.
During a heated discussion inside the reality show, Shilpa responded to fellow contestants who questioned her past actions. She claimed she used every possible means to fight for herself and revealed that the producer later requested her to return to the show after nine years. "If he had a problem with me, why would he take me back after nine years?" she said while defending her stand.
Shilpa recently admitted that the sexual harassment allegation she filed in 2017 was false, saying she felt she had no other option after her payment dispute and fallout with the show's producers. She also revealed that the matter was eventually settled out of court and her pending dues were cleared.
Her latest remarks have reignited debate on social media, with many questioning her justification, while others continue to discuss the impact of false allegations and workplace disputes in the entertainment industry.
