Actor Swara Bhaskar has opened up about her priorities after embracing motherhood, saying that she is not actively chasing film projects at the moment as she wants to spend more time with her daughter.

Swara, who welcomed her first child with husband Fahad Ahmad last year, shared that becoming a mother has shifted her outlook on work and life. She said that while acting remains a passion, she does not want to miss out on the early years of her child’s growth.

The actor explained that the film industry often demands long schedules away from home, which is not something she is comfortable with right now. Instead, she is choosing projects carefully and focusing on work that allows her to balance career and family.

Known for her roles in films like Veere Di Wedding, Raanjhanaa and Nil Battey Sannata, Swara has also been vocal about social and political issues. She noted that she is grateful for the support she has received from her family and fans during this new chapter of her life.

Swara added that she is open to exploring opportunities in digital content and shorter projects that give her creative satisfaction without keeping her away from her daughter for too long. For now, her main focus remains on enjoying motherhood while staying connected to her craft.
