Ananya Lohia , New Delhi - Cristiano Ronaldo is set to expand his career beyond football by executive producing and appearing in a new scripted television drama based on the world of British football. The series, titled Day 1s, will also feature former Arsenal and France star Thierry Henry.
Day 1s follows the story of fictional elite football agent Stanley Dalton, played by Homeland and Billions actor Damian Lewis. The drama is based on a concept by football agent Darren Dein, who also serves as an executive producer. Filming has already begun at Barnet FC's Hive Stadium in London, with Thierry Henry spotted on set. Ronaldo is expected to make a cameo while also serving as an executive producer, marking his first reported acting role in a scripted television production.
The series is being produced by UR•Marv, the independent film studio Ronaldo launched with Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn in 2025. The project adds to Ronaldo's growing business ventures while he continues his playing career with Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team. Although the series has generated strong interest, no streaming platform or release date has been announced yet.
With Day 1s, Ronaldo takes a significant step into scripted television, combining his football legacy with entertainment while continuing to play professionally.
