The family dispute surrounding industrialist Sunjay Kapur has taken a new turn as his mother has stepped forward to challenge the will that was earlier contested by Karisma Kapoor’s children. The disagreement reportedly involves assets estimated to be worth Rs 10,000 crore.
According to sources, the contested assets include prime properties, business holdings, and investments tied to the Kapur family’s legacy. The matter has now moved to court, where both sides are expected to present their claims over the inheritance.
Legal experts note that inheritance battles of such high value often stretch over years, involving multiple hearings and complex arguments over ownership rights. The involvement of different family members across generations has further complicated the case.
The Kapur family, known for its business influence, has not issued any public statement yet. However, the dispute is being closely followed, given the staggering scale of wealth involved and the high-profile personalities connected to it.
