Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha recently addressed persistent pregnancy rumours in her signature witty style. The speculation began after a video surfaced from designer Vikram Phadnis’s 35th-anniversary gala, showing her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal, playfully placing his hand on her belly during a photo op. Sonakshi quickly moved his hand away, laughing and calling out his name, but the light-hearted moment quickly spiralled into rumours that the couple was expecting their first child.
Zaheer later clarified the gesture in the video itself, saying, “Mazaak kar rahe hain” (We’re just joking). However, the internet continued to buzz with speculation. In response, Sonakshi took to social media posting a cheeky note that read: “World record holder for longest pregnancy in human history (16 months and counting according to our lovely and hyper intelligent media) simply for posing with hand around midsection. Shahid Kapoor chose to stay grounded and cautions, stating he never believes anything anybody says unless he has witnessed it firsthand, effectively taking a balanced stance on the humor.
