At Manish Malhotra’s star-studded Diwali bash, Shloka Mehta broke from the conventional lehenga and saree route to make a chic statement with a contemporary interpretation of Banarasi tradition.  She stepped out in a striking ensemble featuring a sleeveless V-neck blouse richly embellished with golden sequin embroidery and delicate zari work.  Bold red accents along the border and large silver buttons added a touch of contrast and glamour.

To modernize her look further, Shloka replaced the usual skirt or saree drape with extra-flared red palazzo pants, adorned with golden detailing and sequin borders along the hemline—an innovative blend of ethnic and contemporary styles.  She chose understated yet elegant accessories: silver statement earrings with red emeralds, soft nude makeup with highlighted cheekbones, and her long hair parted in the middle and let loose in sleek waves.
