Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, recently honoured with a National Award for his performance in Atlee's 2023 film Jawan, has provided a witty health update regarding a shoulder injury. At The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview event, Khan declared, "It will take one or two months for me to recover. Lekin National Award uthane ke liye mera ek haath hi kaafi hai," drawing cheers from the audience. He had previously thanked the jury, the I&B ministry, and the Indian government via a video on X (formerly Twitter) for the recognition.

Addressing concerns during an #AskSRK session, Khan humorously stated his shoulder was "Bearing the weight of stardom quite effectively…. ha ha. It’s healing my friend". This injury, sustained during an action sequence for his upcoming film King, has reportedly delayed its filming until 2027. King marks his daughter Suhana Khan's silver screen debut, with Khan starring in the titular role. Khan is also slated for a cameo appearance in his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which will premiere soon on Netflix.
