Actor Darshan and his associate Pavithra Gowda were arrested on Wednesday after the Supreme Court cancelled their bail in an ongoing criminal case. The duo was taken into custody by the police and is expected to be produced before the trial court later in the day.

The case against them involves allegations of serious offences, which the court noted required further custodial interrogation. The apex court, while revoking the earlier bail order, observed that granting them continued freedom could influence the investigation.
