The upcoming film Cocktail 2 is reportedly being mounted on a huge budget, with the total landing cost estimated at around ₹150 crore, according to industry sources. The romantic drama sequel is already generating strong buzz due to its scale and casting.
As per early reports, a major portion of the budget has gone into production expenses, which are said to be around ₹95 crore. This includes large-scale shooting schedules, international locations, set design, cinematography, and post-production work aimed at giving the film a premium visual appeal.
Actor fees are estimated at approximately ₹35 crore, with the lead cast and supporting stars commanding significant remuneration. The remaining budget is believed to be allocated to marketing, promotions, music rights, and distribution costs.
The film is expected to follow the emotional and stylish tone of the original Cocktail, while also expanding its narrative with a modern storyline and bigger production value.
Official figures have not yet been confirmed by the makers, the reported budget indicates that Cocktail 2 is being positioned as a major theatrical release.
