Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Actor Aparshakti Khurana has revealed that he hopes to move away from acting in the next 10–12 years and pursue a new passion—tailoring. The actor shared that he wants to learn the craft from scratch, including cutting fabric and stitching clothes.

Speaking on Double Date with Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Aparshakti recalled a lesser-known phase of his career when he worked as a stylist after moving to Mumbai. He said that his interest in fashion and clothing has stayed with him over the years, inspiring his dream of learning tailoring in the future. The actor also reflected on his early struggles in the entertainment industry. Aparshakti revealed that while working in radio and taking up small jobs before marriage, he regularly reached out to directors, casting agents, and production houses but rarely received a response. However, after marrying Aakriti Ahuja, he unexpectedly started getting replies to years-old messages, leading him to believe that luck may have played a role in his career journey.
Aparshakti made his Bollywood debut with the blockbuster Dangal and later appeared in successful films such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Stree, and Luka Chuppi. He also earned critical acclaim for his performance in the web series Jubilee.
The actor was last seen in Jab Khuli Kitaab and is now gearing up for his next project, Root, which marks his Tamil film debut. While Aparshakti continues to expand his acting career, he already has his sights set on a completely different profession for the future.
