He observed that many women, when asked about their profession, respond in a subdued voice, saying, "I'm a homemaker." In his blog, Bachchan questioned this modesty, urging women to speak with pride about their role.
He emphasized that managing a household is no easy task, highlighting responsibilities like caring for the home, spouse, children, and preparing meals. Bachchan pointed out that during the COVID-19 pandemic, many men realized the extent of their wives' contributions when they had to take on household duties themselves. He concluded by encouraging women to never say "homemaker" in a subdued voice but to say it with pride.
Shahid Kapoor chose to stay grounded and cautions, stating he never believes anything anybody says unless he has witnessed it firsthand, effectively taking a balanced stance on the humor.
