In a tragic accident late Tuesday night, three people lost their lives and two others sustained serious injuries when a taxi collided with a truck on State Highway-94 near Village Five of GB Pulia in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The victims were en route to visit Channa Dham Balaji, a religious site in the region.
According to police reports, the truck was traveling from Anupgarh to Suratgarh when the high-speed taxi crashed into its rear. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car was mangled, trapping the occupants inside. Rescue teams had to cut open the vehicle to extricate the bodies.
The deceased have been identified as Surendra (20), Naresh Kumar (20), and Kaluram (18), all residents of Anupgarh. The injured, Sukhdev (19) and Jagdish Kumar (28), who was driving the car, were rushed to the district hospital in Sri Ganganagar for medical treatment.
