Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha recently visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi with her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal. For the occasion, she wore a green and white printed short kurta paired with pyjamas, completing her look with a green dupatta covering her head.

 Zaheer chose a black shirt and green trousers for the visit. Sonakshi shared a video of their visit on Instagram, expressing, "Found a little sukoon (peace), right here in Abu Dhabi!" The post was part of a promotional campaign for Abu Dhabi tourism.

Her visit comes shortly after actress Deepika Padukone faced online backlash for wearing a hijab during a tourism advertisement featuring the same mosque. Sonakshi's choice to wear a traditional outfit and head covering has sparked discussions online, with some fans highlighting the double standards in public reactions. One user commented, "So it's normal for Sonakshi but not for Deepika?? Both visited the same mosque, and both looked wonderfully amazing with their husbands. Can we stop trolling people and let them live peacefully?"
