Desk Correspondent, Mumbai - A recent cryptic post by Salman Khan about feeling “alone and lonely” left fans worried, with many flooding social media with support messages. Although the actor later clarified that the post was not about his personal life, it once again sparked discussions around Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor and why he has never married.
The answer may lie in an old interview where veteran screenwriter Salim Khan opened up about Salman’s approach towards relationships. According to Salim, Salman often falls for ambitious and successful women from the film industry but eventually expects them to take on traditional household responsibilities after marriage. Salim revealed that Salman looks for qualities of his mother, in his partners. He explained that the actor wants a wife who would prioritise family life, cook for the children, and manage the household — expectations that may not align with the demanding careers of actresses. Salim called this contradiction one of the major reasons Salman has remained unmarried despite several high-profile relationships over the years.
Soon after, Salman Khan clarified that the post was not about him personally and thanked fans for their love and prayers. While the mystery around Salman’s marriage continues to intrigue fans, Salim Khan’s candid remarks have once again offered a rare glimpse into the superstar’s personal expectations and emotional mindset.
