Desk Correspondent , New Delhi - A 29-year-old man was found dead in his rented flat in Gurugram’s Sector 53 on Thursday morning, following a suspected overdose of sex-enhancing drugs. The deceased, a native of Nagpur who worked at the Quality Council of India in Delhi, had reportedly invited his fiancée over to meet him but passed away before her arrival. Local police discovered his body after being alerted by a concerned colleague who noted that the man was not answering his phone or opening his door.
Initial investigations suggest the victim may have suffered a fatal heart attack triggered by the supplements. While conducting a search of the premises, officers recovered several wrappers of medicines and health supplements from the room. Sector 53 SHO Satender Rawal stated that the exact cause of death remains under investigation, though preliminary findings point toward a drug-induced medical emergency.
The body was handed over to the man’s family following a postmortem examination. Authorities have sent the recovered medicinal wrappers and the man’s viscera to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for detailed testing. Police confirmed they are currently exploring all angles of the case as they await the final forensic report to conclude the investigation.
