Indian cricketer KL Rahul recently expressed his admiration for Rishab Shetty's latest Kannada film, Kantara Chapter 1, describing it as "all heart" and a beautiful representation of Mangaluru's traditions and beliefs. Sharing his thoughts on Instagram Stories, Rahul wrote, "Just watched Kantara. Blown away by the magic @rishabshettyofficial has created yet again. All heart and beautifully represents the people and the belief of Mangaluru." Shetty acknowledged Rahul's praise by resharing the post with two heart emojis.
This isn't the first time Rahul has shown his appreciation for Kantara. Earlier this year, during an IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rahul's on-field celebration—a gesture inspired by the film—caught attention. He later revealed that the moment was influenced by Kantara, a sentiment his father-in-law, actor Suniel Shetty, also acknowledged during a commentary appearance.
