Kelly Clarkson has returned to filming 'The Voice' this week, participating in the taping of Season 29, titled "Battle Of Champions". Her reunion with fellow winning coaches Adam Levine and John Legend marks her swift return after a brief absence earlier this month.
Clarkson reportedly missed one 'Voice' shoot, a rehearsal for the battle rounds, following the recent death of her former husband and father of her children, Brandon Blackstock. Fellow 'American Idol' alumna and former 'Voice' coach, Jennifer Hudson, stepped in to fill for her during this period.
NBC is currently filming two cycles of 'The Voice' concurrently. Season 28, set to premiere this autumn, features Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg. Speculation about McEntire’s participation due to Blackstock, her stepson, has been addressed, with sources confirming filming on Season 28 has gone to plan and McEntire is fulfilling her obligations.
Furthermore, preparations for the upcoming seventh season of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' remain uninterrupted, with the syndicated daytime talk show on track to begin production in early September as scheduled.
