Shivani Jaiswal , Ranchi - Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto has continued his hunger strike for the 10th consecutive day, even as he remains admitted to a hospital in Jharkhand. His deteriorating health has become a major concern, with doctors keeping him under constant medical observation.

Mahto has been leading the protest in support of students' demands related to recruitment examinations and alleged irregularities. Despite being hospitalised, he has reportedly refused to end his indefinite fast, insisting that the agitation will continue until the government addresses the key demands.

Medical officials are closely monitoring his condition and conducting regular health assessments. According to hospital sources, his health remains under observation, while supporters and student organisations continue to gather in solidarity.
