A shocking incident came to light in Karnataka where a Class 9 student delivered a baby inside her school toilet. The matter surfaced when the girl reportedly went into labor during school hours. Soon after the delivery, both the student and the newborn were rushed to a hospital for medical care.
Authorities launched an immediate probe into the incident. Preliminary reports suggest that the pregnancy had gone unnoticed by teachers and school staff for months. Following the revelations, four staff members, including teachers, have been suspended for negligence.
The case has sparked widespread concern among parents and education officials about the lack of vigilance in schools and the need for better awareness regarding child safety and counseling. Police are investigating further to determine circumstances leading to the pregnancy and whether there was any exploitation involved.
