Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - The much-awaited teaser of Alpha, the latest addition to Yash Raj Films' spy universe, was unveiled on Wednesday, generating significant buzz among fans. Starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, the film has already received support from Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who shared the teaser on social media and sent his best wishes to Alia.
Soon after the teaser's release, Amitabh Bachchan took to X and wrote, "Love and wishes to my adorable Alia," while sharing the film's teaser and tagging the cast and crew. The gesture once again highlighted the veteran actor's long-standing admiration for Alia. Over the years, Bachchan has often praised her work, calling her one of his favourite actors and even writing a personal letter appreciating her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is the newest chapter in YRF's popular spy universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War 2. The teaser focuses on Bobby Deol's character and Alia Bhatt, revealing a mentor-protégé relationship in which Bobby trains Alia's character from childhood and assigns her first mission on her 18th birthday. While the teaser generated excitement, some fans questioned the absence of Sharvari, who is also one of the film's lead actors. Several social media users expressed disappointment that she did not appear in the teaser or feature prominently in promotional discussions surrounding the film.
With its action-packed premise and strong cast, Alpha has emerged as one of the most anticipated films in the YRF spy universe. Amitabh Bachchan's public endorsement has added to the excitement, while fans eagerly await more glimpses of the film ahead of its theatrical release on July 3.
