Ananya Lohia , London - Actor Adarsh Gourav is set to reprise his role as Slightly in the second season of Alien: Earth. The sci-fi series, created by Noah Hawley and executive produced by legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott, is gearing up for an even bigger season with Emmy-winning actor Peter Dinklage joining the cast.
Adarsh, who played the emotionally layered hybrid character Slightly, also known as Aarush, in the first season, said returning to the Alien universe feels “incredibly special.” The actor shared that the role stayed with him long after filming because of the character’s emotional depth and unpredictability. Speaking about the upcoming season, Adarsh expressed excitement about exploring the character further in the expansive sci-fi world built by Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott. He also praised the ensemble cast, saying that working alongside actors like Peter Dinklage and Timothy Olyphant pushes him creatively every day.
Season 2 will also feature returning cast members including Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin and Babou Ceesay. Adarsh revealed that he will leave for the international shooting schedule in the first week of June, with filming beginning shortly after. The first season of Alien: Earth premiered globally on FX and streamed in India on JioHotstar in August 2025. According to Disney, the debut episode recorded 9.2 million views worldwide within six days of release. The critically acclaimed series also earned a 94 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
While fans await an official release date for the second season, anticipation around Alien: Earth continues to grow. With Adarsh Gourav returning alongside new additions like Peter Dinklage, the upcoming season promises to expand the Alien universe on an even grander scale.
