The late singer and actor Zubeen Garg’s final film, Roi Roi Binale, is scheduled to release on October 31, as revealed by his wife Garima Saikia. She shared that the film had been in post-production for some time and that Zubeen was extremely passionate about its completion.
Garima said that Zubeen worked tirelessly on the project and considered it very close to his heart. “He always wanted this film to reach audiences,” she said, emphasizing his dedication and enthusiasm.
However, Zubeen’s voice dubbing could not be completed before his untimely demise. Garima described this as leaving a “gap” in the film, although all other aspects, including music and supporting performances, were finalized. She expressed hope that audiences would still feel Zubeen’s artistic essence through the completed portions.
Zubeen was laid to rest in his ancestral village Sonapur, near Guwahati, with full honors, including a gun salute. Fans and well-wishers paid tribute to his legacy.
Roi Roi Binale will now serve as a poignant reminder of Zubeen Garg’s artistic journey, showcasing his talent and passion in what is truly his final cinematic work. It stands as a testament to his enduring contribution to music and film.
