Patna: Security agencies in Bihar have been put on high alert following inputs that three suspected terrorists from Pakistan may have crossed into India through the Nepal border. According to police officials, intelligence inputs suggested that the suspects entered the state in recent days, prompting immediate deployment of forces at key locations.
Checkpoints have been set up along highways, railway stations and bus terminals, while police personnel have been instructed to maintain strict vigilance in border districts. Special teams have also been dispatched to monitor suspicious movements in crowded areas.
Senior officers stated that coordination has been established with central agencies and neighbouring states to track any possible movement of the suspects. Citizens have been urged to remain alert and report any unusual activity to the nearest police station.
Authorities emphasised that the situation is under close watch and all necessary steps are being taken to ensure public safety.
