Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away on October 8, 2025, at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, after battling severe injuries for nearly 12 days. The 35-year-old succumbed to multiple organ failure at 10:55 AM, according to a hospital statement. He had been admitted on September 27 in an extremely critical condition following a motorcycle accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, where he collided with stray cattle. The accident resulted in severe head and spinal injuries, leading to brain damage and cardiac arrest before his transfer to the hospital.
Despite intensive medical care and continuous monitoring by the Critical Care and Neurosurgery teams, Jawanda's condition remained critical with minimal brain activity and no significant improvement. He had been on life support since admission.
Jawanda was renowned for his hit tracks such as 'Surname', 'Kamla', 'Mera Dil', and 'Sardari'. He also made notable appearances in Punjabi films like 'Jind Jaan', 'Mindo Taseeldarni', and 'Kaka Ji'.
