Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Kolkata, launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) while assuring people of political and developmental change in West Bengal. Addressing a public gathering, he echoed the slogan “TMC jaabe, poribortan hobe” (TMC will go, change will come), signaling the BJP’s push ahead of upcoming elections in the state.
PM Modi accused the ruling party of corruption, mismanagement, and failing to address the needs of common citizens. He highlighted issues ranging from unemployment to alleged irregularities in welfare schemes, promising that the BJP would bring transparent governance and better opportunities for the youth.
Here are some of his top remarks from the rally:
“West Bengal deserves change, and the people will bring it.”
“Corruption and scams have become the identity of the TMC government.”
“Development has been blocked here, but we will ensure progress reaches every household.”
