Chopra portrayed Amarjot Kaur, the wife of the legendary Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila, in the biographical drama directed by Imtiaz Ali. Upon hearing the news, Chopra shared her excitement on Instagram, stating, “Proud of my team Chamkila.”
The film, released on Netflix in April 2024, delves into the life and untimely death of Amar Singh Chamkila, often referred to as the "Elvis of Punjab." Chopra's co-star, Diljit Dosanjh, has also been lauded for his portrayal of Chamkila. The International Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in New York City on November 24, 2025.
