Auto-rickshaw booking app Namma Yatri has announced a partnership with Truecaller to improve customer safety and accessibility. The collaboration will allow users to receive verified calls from drivers, reducing the risk of fraud and ensuring smoother communication.
As part of the tie-up, the service will also include Kannada language support, making the app more user-friendly for local commuters and drivers in Bengaluru. The move is aimed at strengthening trust between riders and drivers while promoting the use of regional language for better connectivity.
Officials from both companies said the partnership highlights their commitment to making technology more inclusive and secure. Namma Yatri, which has rapidly expanded in Bengaluru, hopes this feature will attract more commuters who prefer local-language services.
