Mumbai - The much-awaited wedding of cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has been suddenly put on hold due to a serious family emergency. Just hours before the couple was meant to get married, the happy celebrations stopped when Smriti’s father, Mr. Srinivas Mandhana, became unwell and had to be rushed to the hospital. Doctors believe the intense stress from the busy wedding planning may have caused his sudden health issue.
The worrying situation grew more difficult when the groom, Palash Muchhal, also needed hospital care shortly after. His family shared that Palash was deeply upset, having a very close bond with Smriti’s father, and the emotional shock caused his own health to worsen. Showing great love and care, both families quickly agreed that the wedding ceremony could not take place until Mr. Mandhana was well again, confirming the marriage is indefinitely postponed.
Following the news, Smriti removed all the happy photos and videos from her engagement and pre-wedding parties from her social media pages. This caused some confusion among fans. However, the families have requested privacy during this sensitive time so they can focus entirely on Mr. Mandhana’s recovery. Everyone is now sending their best wishes for a swift return to good health, hoping the couple can celebrate their big day soon.
