Ananya Lohia , New Delhi - Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has opened up about the insecurities she faces while navigating her new role in politics. Speaking to India Today, the Mandi MP admitted that despite being known for her confidence and courage, she often struggles with self-doubt.
Kangana said she frequently wonders whether she is "good enough" as a politician and worries about how she is perceived. The actor revealed that questions about her appearance, dressing style, and whether she is still seen as "too much of a heroine" often cross her mind. She added that stepping into a new profession naturally brings daily fears and uncertainties, even if there is no single lingering fear.

Apart from her political responsibilities, Kangana remains active in cinema and is currently promoting her upcoming film Bharat Bhagya Vidhata. Based on true events, the film tells the story of hospital workers who protected nearly 400 patients during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks at Cama and Albless Hospital.
Calling the film a tribute to unsung heroes, Kangana said it highlights courage, sacrifice, humanity, and unity, and celebrates the quiet bravery of ordinary people who stood between terror and life itself. Directed by Manoj Tapadia, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 12.
