Actress Kajal Aggarwal has addressed "baseless" death rumours, revealing her family was "deeply disturbed" by incessant calls after false reports circulated of her passing in a road accident. Aggarwal became the target of a death hoax, with social media claiming she had sustained major injuries. She expressed that while she initially found the news "amusing," it was sad to see her family and staff receive non-stop calls.
On Monday, the prominent Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi film actress used her official Instagram Stories and X (formerly Twitter) to deny the claims. She wrote, "I've come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!), and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue". Aggarwal assured fans she is "perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well," kindly requesting them not to believe or spread such false news. She stressed that birth and death are serious matters that should never be trivialised.
Aggarwal was last seen in Vishnu Manchu’s 'Kannappa' and Salman Khan's 'Sikandar'. Her exciting line-up includes Kamal Haasan’s 'Indian 3' and Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious 'Ramayana', where she is reportedly cast as Mandodari opposite Yash's Ravana.
