After the success of Chamkila, the director has unveiled the trailer of his new partition drama starring Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari and Vedang Raina. The emotionally charged trailer has already received a positive response from fans online.
The trailer revolves around a heartbreaking love story set during the Partition of 1947. Naseeruddin Shah plays an elderly man who keeps remembering the woman he once loved, played by Sharvari. During the chaos of Partition, he is forced to leave her behind but promises that he will return someday. However, the promise remains incomplete for decades. The story then follows his grandson, played by Diljit Dosanjh, who attempts to help him reconnect with his lost past and fulfill the emotional promise. Fans have been showering praise on the trailer on social media.
