According to officials, the commotion began when a few individuals in the crowd engaged in an argument that quickly escalated. Police present at the venue detained one person in connection with the disturbance.
Despite the disruption, the Chief Minister continued with the program after security ensured the situation was under control. Authorities later confirmed that the event concluded peacefully.
Local police stated that they are investigating the incident and reviewing footage from the venue to determine the cause of the ruckus. Additional security measures are likely to be put in place for upcoming public interactions.
