Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - After creating history with Jawan, the dynamic duo of Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee is once again coming up with blockbuster sequel of Jawan, that is 'Jawan 2'. After the massive success of their first collaboration, its going to be really interesting to watch them together sharing the screen once again. The buzz around the sequel is already gaining attention, promising yet another high-voltage cinematic experience.
According to reports , the script and idea for Jawan 2 had been in the works for a while. A few weeks ago, the scripts was finalized, and the makers are planning to take the project forward once Shah Rukh Khan wraps up his upcoming film “King.” While there has been no official announcement yet, insiders indicate that the film is in early stages of development. Adding to the excitement, reports suggest that a popular South Indian star may be roped in to play the main Villian in the sequel. The original Jawan, directed by Atlee and starring Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, turned out to be a massive blockbuster, breaking multiple box office records and crossing the ₹1000 crore mark globally. The film’s high-octane action, strong social message, and star-studded cast made it one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema. The film received positive reviews from the critics as well as audiences and emerged as one of India's highest-grossing films by collecting ₹1100 crore worldwide. At the 71st National Film Awards, the film won two awards: Best Actor in a Leading Role (SRK) and Best Female Playback Singer (Shilpa Rao for Chaleya). This was Shah Rukh’s first-ever National Award in a career spanning over 33 years.
However, it is important to note that earlier, Atlee had clarified that Jawan 2 was not an immediate project, even though he confirmed future collaborations with Shah Rukh Khan. This means that the current developments are based on industry buzz and have not yet been officially confirmed by the makers.
