Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. have officially unveiled the first glimpse of Aryan Khan's highly anticipated directorial debut, "The B***ds of Bollywood". This marks a significant arrival for the debut director, signalling his fresh intent and a novel cinematic take on the industry.
The series is described as genre-defying, blending self-awareness with cheeky humour, set against a stylised yet chaotic backdrop. The first look commences with a voiceover evoking a romantic Mohabbatein-esque vibe, only to conclude with a stinging rejoinder, kicking off familiar Hindi film nostalgia that quickly flips into something sharper and louder. While the voice may remind audiences of Shah Rukh Khan, the tone is distinctly Aryan's.
Produced by Gauri Khan, the series features a diverse cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and others. Aryan Khan has teased that the series will offer a glimpse into the inside world of Bollywood, promising "bohot saara pyaar… aur thoda sa vaar" (a lot of love... and a little attack). The show's preview is slated for release on August 20, 2025.
Shahid Kapoor chose to stay grounded and cautions, stating he never believes anything anybody says unless he has witnessed it firsthand, effectively taking a balanced stance on the humor.
