Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to experimenting with new genres and avatars. After grabbing attention for his upcoming alien-thriller Samuk, the actor has now impressed fans with a full-on Bhojpuri-style performance in the song Ghis Ghis Ghis from Welcome To The Jungle.
The energetic track features Akshay dancing with complete abandon alongside Bhojpuri star Akshara Singh, and fans cannot stop talking about his desi transformation. From his expressions to the Bhojpuri flavour in the song, social media users are calling it one of Akshay’s most unexpected yet entertaining avatars in recent times. Fans flooded the comment section with praise, with many referencing his iconic “Bhaisahab yeh kis line mein aa gaye aap” dialogue from Welcome. Several users also appreciated how naturally the actor blended into the Bhojpuri vibe, with comments celebrating his dance moves and comic timing. Apart from Welcome To The Jungle, Akshay is also gearing up for Samuk, a project that is expected to mark India’s first major alien-thriller. Directed by Kanishk Verma, the film will reunite Akshay with producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah after more than a decade. The ambitious project is also said to involve international technicians associated with Hollywood franchises like Alien and Predator.
