He recounted an incident where he, along with fellow actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, and others, performed at an event titled Awesome Foursome. The event was graced by international pop icon Madonna, who attended with her husband and child.

According to Akshay, the atmosphere was lively and the performers were enthusiastic. However, the mood shifted when one performer, who had learned of Madonna's attendance only that afternoon, composed a song specifically for her. The lyrics included lines like, "You look to me a virgin, you have a virgin smile," set to the tune of Shah Rukh and Kajol's popular song "Ye Kaali Kaali Aankhein."
