Semi-skilled workers will receive ₹15,059, while skilled workers will get ₹16,868. In the municipal corporation areas the per month wages set for unskilled workers is ₹13,006, ₹14,306 for semi-skilled workers, and ₹16,025 for skilled workers. As for other districts, the unskilled workers will earn ₹12,356 per month, semi-skilled workers ₹13,591, and skilled workers ₹15,224. CM Yogi Adityanath has asked the employer organisations to ensure workers receive their monthly salary as per the rule.
This particular adaptation was made after the massive protest in Noida by the factory worker. They demanded to have higher wages and better work conditions. Matter got out of hand when the police's lathi charge injured a female worker. As per the government's release the industry is going through a large scale shift both globally and economically. In such situations it is important that both, employee and employer adopt a harmonious approach to and kind of work related problems.
